DBCA Members!
On Wednesday, July 9, 2014 a re-organizational meeting was held at Maitland City Hall for the purpose of electing officers and board members at-large to serve out the 2014 year for our association. Below are the results of the meeting and the election with the new Board of Directors and Officers:
President – Kevin Griffin
Vice President – Steve Brown
Secretary – Lisa DeRoo
Treasurer – Lee Ungaro
Board Member at-large – Graham Clark
Board Member at-large – Shirley Welch
Board Member at-large – John Lowndes
Board Member at-large – Gus Bobes

Board Member at-large – Gary Bosses
The first meeting of the board will be held at 6pm on July 30th at Kevin & Beth Griffin’s home at 570 Dommerich Drive.
Several suggestions and comments were brought up at the July 9th meeting including having lake lot workdays both in the mornings and in the late afternoon as well, bringing back the “Yard of the Month” award, and placing a warning sign at the end of the boat ramp to warn boaters of a sharp drop-off at the end of the ramp that some are getting trailers stuck if they back their trailers too far into the water. The Board will be taking up these suggestions and will also be reviewing bids for a new landscape and lake front maintenance service.
A Back-to School Celebration at the lake lot is in the works and the date will be posted asap. In addition a workday will be scheduled soon to lay mulch at the lot and the front entrance so keep your eye on the web site for dates and times to be posted after the board meeting on the 30th.
